Grace is a philosopher working wherever she can make herself useful. From nursery schools to medical schools - and out of school altogether philosophising in museums, businesses and woodland - this work has brought her into contact with thousands of thinkers from all walks of life.
Working in the Community, she is the Founder of Thinking Space, a non-profit committed to making space for philosophical enquiry. Grace is also Level Two SAPERE trainer, an associate of The Philosophy Foundation, a board member of SOPHIA and a member of the Philosophy in Education Project.
Working in Academia, she is a Teaching Fellow at the University of Leeds where she runs ‘Philosophy Exchange’ - a project that brings together philosophy students, teachers and children in weekly P4C. She also consults with other UK universities on similar programmes. Grace is currently studying for a PhD in Philosophy of Education at UCL Institute of Education where she was awarded an ESRC scholarship. Through workshops, paper presentations and training, she has shared her academic thinking and her philosophy practice nationally and internationally.
