Alison has been a SAPERE P4C trainer since 2001 and a P4C teacher since the mid ‘90s. She works with educators on school P4C projects across the country using P4C to support and develop questioning, reasoning, meaning making and oracy skills with mainly primary age children.
Alison has had several roles within SAPERE, including courses development manager, coordinating the development of the SAPERE L2A and L2B courses and the Tools for Thinking Together course. Alison leads training and support in a number of Going for Gold schools and is the project leader for the SAPERE PRU project, introducing P4C into schools for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties in both primary and secondary alternative provisions.
