Silver Award

The Silver Award recognizes that P4C is a regular part of the teaching and learning within the school.  The children demonstrate familiarity with philosophical concepts and questions.  Teachers begin to integrate planning and reviewing P4C across the curriculum.  We would normally expect a school to have been doing P4C for two full years before being ready to apply for the Silver Award.

Download these Guidance Notes if your school wishes to apply for a SAPERE Silver Award in Philosophy for Children (P4C). You can also download a Submission Form. Please refer to the guidance notes when completing the application.
